Pepper output to reach 200,000 tonnes this year

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s pepper output this year would reach around 200,000 tonnes, according to the International Pepper Community (IPC). Output of black pepper was forecast at 175,000 tonnes, while the remainder would be white pepper. Export price of Vietnamese pepper down 62 per cent

HÀ NỘI — The average export price of Vietnamese pepper fell by 62 per cent year-on-year in the first eight months of 2018 to around US$3,330 per tonne following a dip in the global market, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Ministry finds no proof of alleged pepper price scam
